Reservations
Do you require a deposit to hold my reservation?
No advance deposit is required for direct or non-refundable reservations; however, a valid credit card is needed to guarantee your room. Upon check-in, a $100 hold will be placed on your credit card for incidentals.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is typically from 4:00 PM (16:00), and check-out is at 12:00 PM (noon).
Do you offer early check-in or late check-out?
Early check-in and late check-out are offered based on availability and handled on a case-by-case basis. Additional fees may apply depending on the time requested. Please contact the front desk at 206-583-6453 to request either an early check-in or late check-out.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to check-in are subject to a charge of one night's room rate plus tax.
In the event of a no-call / no-show, a fee equal to one night's stay plus tax will be applied.
The Baroness Hotel expects that all confirmed bookings will be honored. If, in rare circumstances, a reservation cannot be accommodated, the property will arrange relocation to a comparable hotel at no charge for the first night.

The minimum age for check-in is 21.

I booked my stay on a site other than baronesshotel.com, and I need to make a change to my reservation, what should I do?
Unfortunately, we're unable to make changes to reservations booked through third-party sites. Please contact the booking site directly if you need to modify your reservation.
Do you offer special rates or services for hospital patients?
Medical discounts are available for hospital patients booking directly with the hotel.

Yes, the hotel is a cashless hotel and only accepts credit cards.

What is the best way to get to Baroness Hotel?

Are pets allowed?
Pets are not permitted, except for certified service animals in accordance with Title II and Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act. A $250 per-night fee applies for deep cleaning of any guest room where an unauthorized pet has stayed.
Can I store my luggage before I check-in or after I check-out?
We would be happy to store your luggage for you at the front desk either prior to check-in or after checkout (same day); unfortunately we do not have appropriate space available for overnight storage.
What are your current health and safety guidelines?
Through our management company, Columbia Hospitality, we've also partnered with Ecolab, a global leader in infection prevention, to enhance our already stringent safety and sanitation protocols through the Columbia Clean program; visit our Health and Safety page for more information.
Is the hotel non-smoking?
Smoking is prohibited on hotel grounds and within 25 feet of public entrances. Smoking in a guest room will result in a $250 damage charge per night for deep cleaning and restoration.
Do you offer airport or cruise ship transportation?
While our team is happy to help coordinate transportation to and from the airport or cruise ship terminals, guests are responsible for the cost of the transportation service. For more information, please contact the front desk at 206-583-6453.
How close is the hotel to the Virginia Mason Medical Center?
The hotel is across from the Virginia Mason Hospital and is ideally located for patients and travelers visiting the medical center (about a one-minute walk).
Is parking free?
Parking is generally available at nearby facilities, and charges may apply.
Amenities
Do you have a fitness center or pool?
We do not currently have a fitness center or pool.
Does the hotel have air conditioning?
No, as a historic building we do not currently have air conditioning, however portable fans are located in every room.
Is Wi-Fi available, and what is the cost?
Wi-Fi available throughout the hotel and is complementary.
Do you have a business center?
Yes, located within the hotel lobby and available 24 hours a day, offering printing and computer/online access.
Where can I park?
The Baroness offers convenient self-parking at nearby garages, including the Terry Avenue Lot behind The Baroness Hotel, as well as the Virginia Mason Hospital Buck Pavilion Parking Garage and the Ninth Avenue Garage. Off-site parking is available for a daily fee, and paid street parking is also an option—look for posted signs in the area. Please visit our Directions & Parking page for more information.
Do the rooms have a refrigerator and microwave?
Yes, all of the rooms at The Baroness Hotel have microwaves and either full sized fridges or mini fridges.
Do you have laundry facilities?
Yes, the hotel has a coin-operated laundry service available.
Dining
Is there an on-site restaurant?
While we do not offer food or beverage service at the hotel, we invite you to explore nearby dining options using our points of interest map. Additionally, The Rho Café, located right next door, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner—either indoors or on their outdoor patio. Food delivery services such as Uber Eats and DoorDash are also welcome to deliver directly to your room.
Accessibility
Does the hotel have ADA accessible rooms?
While The Baroness Hotel does not have designated ADA rooms, many of our rooms feature accessibility-friendly amenities, including grab bars, larger bathrooms, and ADA equipment such as shower chairs, toilet seat risers, and step stools available upon request. We also offer alternative routes to avoid stairs where possible.
